Best of Mallorca: Santanyì

Updated June 2025

Santanyí feels nicely balanced:

A bi-weekly market, excellent restaurants, cute shops + some of the island’s most beautiful beaches only a 10-15 minute drive from town.

A charming town designed for pedestrians, park on the outskirts, and stroll into the centre of town.

Santanyí Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am - 2pm. Here, you will find both produce + artisan goods.

Rocky cove, with cliffs surrounding the perimeter. Perfect for swimmers & cliff jumpers. Sister beach to Caló des Moro, with much more seating potential.

Caló des Moro

Google Maps

Very small sandy beach cove, only 30m long and 20m wide. Also a bit of a scramble to get down to the beach. I do not recommend this beach June - August, it is too crowded.
